Expectations and Tasks:

13. (Senior) Developer - SAP Globalization Services

Globalization Services (GS) acts as ‘One Face to the Field Organization and SAP Customers’ for all
globalization topics: internationalization, localization and translation.
The department consists of more than 20 nationalities representing. Development Unit 1 (GDU 1)
is located in Germany, India, Russia, Israel and Portugal. Moscow Development Department is a
development unit within the Development Unit 1 (GDU 1).The department language is English.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Degree in computer or natural science or economics
• Very good powers of comprehension and high quality commitment
• Willingness to quickly acquire understanding in new areas
• Fluent Russian and English
• Constructive and open style of communication
• Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures
• Willingness to travel (occasionally)

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
You will be responsible for developing, maintenance and support in the above mentioned areas. This
covers:
• Development and delivery of localized solutions
• Continuous interaction with Product Team to collect requirement
• Roll-in and Roll-out new solutions
• Analysis of problems in complex customer scenarios at Development Support level
• Ability to analyse and adapt the standard solution in accordance with specific legal
requirements with given resources
Since we apply LEAN and Scrum in our product development, you’re supposed to execute not only on
pure development task types, but also on tasks related to specification, quality measures and testing.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Good knowledge in any ERP system

14. Technical Writer, SAP Globalization Services

The SAP Globalization Services team localizes SAP’s ERP software for use in different countries. The team has locations across the world, including Brazil, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, India, and Russia.
We are seeking two full-time technical writers on a permanent contract to join our team in Moscow. You will be responsible for writing the documentation, in English, which is used by consultants to implement SAP’s software. For this, you will work closely with our product management experts and software developers. You will specialize in a specific subject-matter area, either Payroll or Financial Accounting. After you have gained experience, we will encourage you to take on more responsibility and branch out into other projects relating to documentation.
We offer a comprehensive training plan, including business knowledge, SAP’s software, documentation tools, writing skills, and SAP’s house style.

Tasks
§ Research and define terminology
§ Edit user interface texts and documentation to ensure usability and that the texts conform to SAP standards
§ Plan, research, and write the documentation required by our consultants
§ Update SAP’s Internet site with information for customers

Requirements
§ Native or near-native speaker of English
§ Fluency in Russian is an advantage
§ University degree in technical writing, humanities, or business
§ General business knowledge, and a willingness and ability to learn new business concepts quickly
§ Practical experience in technical writing, and an ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable and clear
manner
§ Good understanding of technology
§ Ability to work to tight deadlines
§ Excellent communication skills

15. Globalization Product Manager, HCM

Product manager is responsible for development and localization of SAP HCM products.

Key responsibilities:
§ To define goals and directions of SAP products’ localization in HCM area on the basis of analysis of Russian legislation, market needs and knowledge of SAP products according to SAP CIS product management procedures
§ To develop methods of its’ realization using standard SAP assets (DRQ, BRD, SRS) and in case of need:
o To formulate tasks to develop additional solutions
o To provide advocacy support for proposed solution
o To develop needed methodic materials for country-specific functionality
§ To organize and participate in testing of developed country-specific features and solutions
§ To participate in clients’ problem analysis process
§ To ensure internal end external knowledge transfer to new country-specific features and solutions

Requirements:
Education/Professional experience:
§ Higher economic and/or technical education
§ Knowledge of economics, Russian accounting standards, payroll calculation and reporting; practical experience in mentioned topics;
§ Experience in working with HCM-systems, preferable SAP HCM, as Solution Manager or Consultant Foreign Languages:
§ Good command of English

Skills:
§ Ability to work in team as well as individually
§ Stress-resistance
§ Analytical way of thinking, good communication skills, responsibility
